ABSTRACT
Introduction. The task of protecting against the interception of information, circulating in data transmission networks is one of the urgent problems of technical support for special-purpose communication facilities. The purpose of this article is to justify a new method of masking desired information signals in a radio channel using special procedures and devices that ensure the formation of multiplicative masking radio interference from desired radiated signals. Results. In the experimental method, the desired information masked signal itself was used as noise, masking this signal. In this case, the masking multiplicative interference is formed from the desired information masked signal by amplifying it in an amplifier with substantially non-linear properties. The distinctive feature of such interference is its correlation with the original signal, that is, such response or retransmitted interference is signal-like, correlated, multiplicative. Conclusion. The proposed method of masking radio signals in the radio channel is characterized by the simplicity of the hardware implementation. The disadvantage of the method is the complication of the problem of electromagnetic compatibility of radio equipment. It is necessary to study the efficiency of obtained multiplicative masking interference using methods of modeling and experimental testing in laboratory and field conditions in respect of various kinds of desired signals modulation.
