MONITORING AND DIAGNOSTICS OF WIRELESS INFORMATION
AND CONTROL SYSTEMS ELEMENTS

ABSTRACT

Introduction. The article resolves the issues of developing and implementing a system for monitoring and diagnosing the communication elements of control systems. It is shown that for the assurance of the assigned quality of procedures of control, monitoring and diagnostics of information converters in wireless information and control systems, it is necessary to develop multifunctional software tools. The purpose of the work is the development and research into an automated system for monitoring and diagnostics of elements of wireless information and control systems, built on network equipment from different manufacturers. To do this, it is necessary to develop the architecture and functionality of the system, select the tools for writing program modules, implement the project, and test it. Results. The existing analogues of the monitoring and diagnostics systems are analyzed, their disadvantages are shown. The architecture and topology of the control system are developed; the requirements for functional subsystems are formulated. The choice of software tools for the project is grounded. The characteristics and capabilities of the main subsystems are illustrated. The approbation of the developed monitoring and diagnostics system for the wireless information and control system of the organization (university) was carried out. Illustrative examples of its operation are shown, the solved problems are demonstrated, the areas of the appropriate use of the system and the directions of its development are determined.
