1987 – Candidate of Economic Sciences
1993 – Doctor of Economic Sciences.
Research interests — system of central and local government; economic appraisal of land resources in the Republic of Mari El, influence of innovative processes on development of processing companies in agro-industrial complex; regional aspects of state regulation of economic relations in agriculture; economic efficiency of specialization and concentration of farm production in the system of regional agro-industrial complex; methodological approaches to the planning in the system of enterprise management in agro-industrial complex; integration processes in milk subcomplex in the system of regional agro-industrial complex; organizational and economic aspects to manage resources potential in agro-industrial complex of the region.
Scientific papers: Alexey Dmitryevich Arzamastsev is the author of more than 180 scientific papers, including five monographs.
