In 1989 Ryabova N. V. graduated from Mari Polytechnic Institute named after M. Gorky with a Diploma in «Construction and Production of Electronic Computing Equipment». In 1994 she was awarded the academic degree of Candidate of Physics and Mathematics, in 2005 – Doctor of Physics and Mathematics. Ryabova N. V. is a member of the Scientific Council of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the complex problem «Propagation of radio waves». Key directions of her professional scientific activity are fundamental research in geophysics and radio wave propagation; radiomonitoring and radio channel forecasting for radio communication, radiolocation and navigation systems; the development of advanced communication systems and antenna complexes; scientific guidance for postgraduate students, specializing in 0512.04 – «Radio Engineering, including systems and devices of television», 01.04.03 – «Radiophysics».

Scientific publications: the author of more than 200 research works, published in Russia and abroad, including two monographs, one tutorial with the signature stamp of the Ministry of Education of Russia, patents and inventor’s certificates.
